CANADA and BEYOND 7-10-10

Ah! CANADA!! We are in front of the HORSESHOE Falls... and of course the boys don't want to wear the yellow ponchos.

It doesn't really matter... we didn't get that wet!

There were some GREAT vies of the falls however, and we enjoyed the better part of an hour looking around and viewing the falls from the CANADA side.

When we got back to the US, we found the town of Canandaigua.  That is the biggest main town near our lake destination... and they have a SUPER WALMART!.  Only problem???? No room in the trunk!! for the grocreies.

So.... Grandma and Grandpa piled all the groceries on US!!! and we headed to our Lake Cottage.

We got to the cottage and enjoyed a nice oven baked PIZZA dinner... and met our first neighbor.  Kitty with no name decided sitting on Grandma was the best location at the lake:):):)

After a day of travel (Canada and back to New York) and a yummy dinner... we settled in to our lake cottage and everybody picked up their book to read.

Davin ended up on the end of the dock reading in the lovely sunset light.

We did discover a "play park" 2 blocks down the street right in front of the lake.  The boys have been down several time since to run, play, and swing.


Tomorrow... a day on the lake BOATING!!!
